Student HECS indexation creates more stress for students

Alarming new Australian Bureau of Statistics data reveals a record number of people are working multiple jobs as households try to keep up with record-high inflation and increasing power prices.

To top it off, students have been slapped with 7.1% indexation of existing HECS debt.

Hayden Lynch met with four students, and a Griffith Uni student council rep, to discuss the recent indexation and what it means for their university studies.
