As the Blues on Broadbeach Festival draws to a close, repeat festival goers will leave satisfied that this year’s return was well worth the visit.
It is a testament to the festival’s continuing appeal that many festival goers have been attending the festival for several years.
Julie and Angela are one such case.

Julie travels to the Gold Coast from North Brisbane and Angela makes her way down from the Sunshine Coast every year to enjoy the fabulous music and atmosphere.
Julie and Angela had set up their chairs along the edge of Victoria Park to watch Josh Needs while their husbands gathered by the Hot Tomato stage.
They were enjoying themselves immensely, Angela said and had expected nothing less as they were tantamount to Blues on Broadbeach frequent fliers.
Indeed, Julie’s red T-shirt was a special edition Blues on Broadbeach number from six years ago.
Locals Kathy and Barbie are another set of repeat festival goers and said that they make the short trip to Broadbeach almost every year for the occasion.

Gary and John are also veteran Blues on Broadbeach fans.
“I’ve been coming for many years,” John said, after stating that he and Gary had decided to sail their boat along this year.

The Blues on Broadbeach festival must be doing something right because these blues fans show no signs of stopping.
