The Blues on Broadbeach Surf Parade stage was home to yet another renowned blues band this afternoon: Geoff Achison and the Souldiggers.
The artist and his supporting band arrived right on time and kicked off their set at 3:00pm.
After touring South America, Geoff is back in the sunburnt country and has many new songs for his large fan base.
Geoff Achison & The Souldiggers is a raw blues band yet described as ‘irresistably danceable’ with a mix of soul and rhythm.
The band is playing every day of the festival so far, including at locations such as Jupiter’s Hotel and Casino and Victoria Park.
As soon as they kicked off, Surf Parade was flooded with supporters not wanting to miss a minute of Geoff Achison & The Souldiggers’ last performance at the 2016 Blues on Broadbeach festival.
Many people dining at the Hook Up Meze Bar’s alfresco section were able to comfortably observe the spectacle while enjoying a ‘blues brew or two’.
