This is the tremendous day for the Gold Coast with the huge free music festival Blues on Broadbeach on fire on its second day: Friday 20 May.
There are lots of performers who will play this event including famous artists such as Big Daddy Wilson, Diesel and Eric Burdon and The Animals.
Although today is week day, the Broadbeach Mall Stage outside the Oasis Shopping Center was full of local people and travelers from afar by 10.30 am.
Organisers estimate that more than 3,000 people attended the event on Thursday and official merchandise sales on the first day of the festival were double what they were last year.
This event is suitable for all ages.
Everyone is having a lot of fun with many people dancing and singing together.
This is just the beginning for the Blues on Broadbeach free music festival with even more music in coming days.
Blues enthusiasts agree: “Let’s keep the fire going.”
