Headlined by Eric Burdon and the Animals, this year’s festival is sure to be a crowd pleaser.
Take one look at the Blues on Broadbeach official Facebook page and it is clear that the festival has become an event of national interest.
Expressions of excitement and anticipation litter the page as locals and interstate fans converge to share their thoughts and plans for the festival.
On a yearly basis, troupes of friends and families make the journey to Broadbeach to meet up, catch up and enjoy this unique festival.
Local resident Graeme Barton is a veteran of the Blues on Broadbeach Music Festival and attends every year to enjoy the festivities.
“Blues on Broadbeach is a great way to spend a Saturday or Sunday on the Gold Coast,” said Mr. Barton.
“My wife and myself generally catch up with some friends to lunch at one of the restaurants where you can eat, talk and also listen to the music,” he said.
“It’s a friendly day as people are generally in a good mood enjoying the music.”
The Blues on Broadbeach music festival is set to kick off 19 May and will come to an end on Sunday 22 May.
