Rockstar’s popular action-adventure game Grand Theft Auto will be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 18 – just in time to stuff in a Christmas stocking.
The updated version of the game includes a new first person player mode and improved graphics.
Rockstar is hoping their modifications to the game will lead to record sales over the Christmas period.
The online version of the game has been updated to allow for the hosting of up to 30 people during online events and now has an improved running time of 108op at 30 frames a second.
However, gamers who are using an older platform to play the game will have to pay for an upgrade in order to receive exclusive content rewarded to Xbox One or PlayStation 4 owners free of charge.
A PC version of Grand Theft Auto V will be released in January 2015 and will be playable on a 4k resolution and on 60 frames per second.
In addition to its improved functionality, the PC version of the game also has a new ‘video editor mode’ that allows players to create their own videos and movies and publish them on social media.
Grand Theft Auto is available for purchase through retail and online outlets.
