KRYSTAL GORDON

In a novel way of protesting the Brisbane People’s Choir performed a song compiled of peoples complaints about the G20 posted on a Facebook page.
Choir organiser Robert Davidson said this type of protest is effective as singing helps manage frustration and enables people to come together to voice concerns in a fun, satirical way.
“It’s a fun way to vent some feelings and hopefully people can relate to that. It’s a bit quirky,” he said.
Choir member Ralf Muhlberger said he was excited to be a part of the complaints choir because it highlights the G20’s negatives in a fun way.
“I’m a big fan of peaceful protests that are also entertaining,” Mr Muhlberger said.
There is no planned public performance, but the final protest song was posted online.
