This week kicks off the annual Goodlife Wellness Festival, with fitness fanatics from all over the country coming together to partake in Australia’s biggest workout.

Thousands are expected to gather at the event on Saturday 25 October at Roma Street Parkland.

Goodlife Health Clubs National Member Experience Manager Clare Gioules said the event will be a positive step forward in changing Australia’s increasing obesity rates.

“Whether we’re catching the bus, watching a movie, driving the car, or behind our desks research has show that we now sit longer than we sleep and it’s slowly killing us,” she said.

“We want to show people of all ages, fitness levels and from all walks of life that a little bit of exercise goes a long way.”

The Goodlife Wellness Festival will also showcase free wellness seminars, cooking demonstrations, fitness challenges and health consultations.
