Today coffee-lovers around the world can add an extra shot to their morning espresso in commemoration of International Coffee Day.
Despite the ever-increasing cost of your daily cuppa, the average Australian drinks 10.1 cups of the life-giving liquid every week, a number that doesn’t seem to be declining anytime soon.
Acclaimed local barista and owner of Zyka’s Kitchen in Cleveland Stephen Zyka said every day should be International Coffee Day.
“Today is dedicated to those who love a great coffee and the creativity it involves,” he said.
“People who don’t enjoy coffee may have had a bad experience in the past, but don’t give up hope!
“There are good establishments out there that are worth visiting.”
