Chinese investors meet with Ipswich Mayor to discuss business

Members of the First Freedom Wealth-China & Australia Entrepreneur Forum attended a meeting with Ipswich Mayor on Monday.

Ipswich Mayor Paul Pisasale said Ipswich is a safe and friendly city for investors from all around the world to gather.

“We have good friendship with China, last week we signed another sister city, Pengzhou City,” Mr Pisasale said.

“[The badge] shows how we nations still work together.”

Each entrepreneur was given a badge with image of the Australian and Chinese flag together as a gift from Ipswich City Council.

General manager of Hangzhou Diexin Yiqin Xie said the environment in Australia encouraged her to attend the meeting.

“We feel very good about this country even when we had not landed from airplane, you can see how fresh the air is in the sky,” Ms Xie said.

“I’m interested in real estate, but I will focus on investments of foreign trade and business consulting mainly.

“I have started the process of investment immigration, I invested in an education consulting company in Sydney.”

The 17 entrepreneurs will spend the next nine days in Australia to collect information about investment opportunities.
