Jets player dies in car accident

Ipswich Jets football player Jaydon Adams has died after a fatal car crash at the Eight Mile intersection near Warwick.

According to police an unidentified woman also passed away in the collision.

The driver of the other car was a 54-year-old man who received minor injuries.

The 23-year-old footballer had been playing for the Jets for two years and had played rugby league for Toowoomba Brothers at Under 18 level.

The Jets posted their condolences on Twitter and Facebook addressing Jaydon’s family and friends.

Warwick police are further investigating the intersections security cameras to identify the precise cause of the accident.
